This Canyon Adventure Engagement Shoot was on fire in more ways than one! As a Palo Duro elopement photographer, I’m often down in the canyon, shooting the rich red cliff walls and reveling in the fiery hues of our west Texas landmark. But Natalie and Jacob brought their own fire to the shoot – they were the absolute most adorable couple and so very into each other!
This newly-engaged couple won an instagram giveaway on my page and came all the way in from DFW. If you scroll down, I think you’ll agree the trip was totally worth every mile! We started the shoot with a more casual, but still classy look with the couple in jeans and sporting matching sneakers. This laid-back vibe was perfect for catching several sweet moments between the two.
The second, dressier look stole the show though! We kept the colors and detail minimal on wardrobe so that the couple’s elegant style really contrasted with the rugged west Texas vista behind them. I felt this Canyon Adventure Engagement shoot was incredibly romantic – in part due to the setting, but mostly because of the genuine affection and love Natalie and Jacob showed each other so clearly throughout the shoot.
