If you’ve been dreaming of a boho country session with lots of yellow wildflowers, this beautiful Red River couple session with Derek and Elaina is for you. It was so dreamy to shoot this session, and I am obsessed with the way the images turned out.
Eliana is a musician (she is so good and you should check her out!) and played at the 8750 BBQ and Music Festival in Red Rock, New Mexico. Before the festival, we got to capture the sweetest pictures of her and her husband Derek (and even managed to snag a few of their dogs!). I mean, can it get any better than frolicking in wildflowers and playing the guitar outside!? Not really.
Also, can I just say, I love photographing my clients in beautiful outdoor landscapes, and this location did not disappoint. The river and the rolling hills were perfect for Derek and Eliana’s country feel, but the field of wildflowers pushed this session over the top! I was able to capture so many sweet, authentic moments between them, and also some solo shots of Elaina and her guitar.
Before leaving town I got to see Eliana in action at the festival and she is incredible! This Red River couple session was such a fun time with exceptional people and a stunning landscape. I can’t wait to go back!
